Single source publishing: theoretical issues and technical implementations

One of the current challenges of the editing and publishing processes lies in the fact of publishing several artifacts from a single source of content or data. If some structures have quickly understood the contribution of this approach and have been able to put in place a certain number of methodologies and tools, traditional publishing houses are struggling to master these techniques, whatever the field (literary, scientific, etc.). In order to understand how digital technologies can change the way of working and publishing texts, we will address theoretical issues in the field of publishing, and then we will present some examples of implementations by criticizing them.
