Digital technology development is accompanied by many debates relating to open access. The imperative of freeness on the internet directly opposes the need to fairly compensate content producers. These issues have become particularly pertinent in the last few years, especially for music, the press and publishing industries that must not only invent new economic models, but also develop new models of content and knowledge diffusion.
